A couple of weeks ago we were blessed to break bread with Jason Fitzpatrick and his daughter Jasmine. Jason and his family live in Mexico, where they have started an intentional community near Mexico City called the Village. Jason is originally from St. Louis, and while he was on furlough here he found our website and emailed us. We were encouraged by their work among the poor and indigenous people. It’s also refreshing to be reminded that Christian communal life is not simply a trend among wealthy white Americans (though it is trendy), but an authentically human way of living which transcends culture and nationality.
